Welcome to Shelby County, Illinois

Welcome to Shelby County’s web site – a service initially implemented to provide convenient access to the Shelby County Comprehensive Zoning Plan, and Zoning Ordinance. It has evolved to include an online version of the Shelby County Directory, and access to commonly used Zoning Administration forms.

Future development of this web site will add additional information about the activities and events of county departments and offices. We also hope establish a convenient and inexpensive method of distributing forms, and create links to web sites that promote Shelby County. With the cooperative efforts of various groups involved in economic development within Shelby County, we will gather statistical information (such as census data), and contact information for economic development as it becomes available.

I hope residents and taxpayers will take advantage of this information so all elected county officials can serve the public in a more convenient and efficient manner.
